I invest in publicly traded companies where I believe better capital allocation can create shareholder value. I'm interested in situations where excess cash, non-core assets, or other balance sheet decisions present an opportunity to improve per-share value.

Most of my research is focused on financial decisions rather than operational change. Depending on the situation, that may involve share repurchases, special dividends, asset sales, spin-offs, or other actions that I believe better allocate capital on behalf of shareholders.

I'm an engineer by training, and I approach investing the same way I approach engineering problems: start with the facts, understand the economics, and think independently. I spend my time reading filings, studying businesses, and developing investment theses where I believe the market has overlooked a clear opportunity.

When I identify an investment that meets my criteria, I intend to partner with investors through a single-purpose investment vehicle dedicated to that opportunity.
